2015 TPA Workshop at Hollyburn Country Club a Success

On October 8, 2015, the TPA hosted the 2015 TPA Workshop for Club Professionals at the Hollyburn Country Club in Vancouver, BC. Over 30 people witnessed various presentations from Ryan Borczon, Richard Crowell, Joanna Hayes, Alex Korch, Wayne Elderton, as well as an on court presentation by Severine Tamborero. This one day event allowed for members from across Western Canada to learn from some of the best tennis minds in the country. 

The day started with Ryan Borczon giving an update on the TPA, including it’s new brand, key updates, and talking about the TPA indsutry survey. Ryan was followed by his Tennis Canada colleague Richard Crowell, who spoke to team tennis and the benefits this program has had across the country. The morning rounded out with Wayne Elderton giving a presentation on the planning and implementation of programs; which was followed by a round table discussion of all particpants involved in the TPA workshop. Following lunch, Severine Tamborero had the afternoon to give on court demonstrations. Severine focussed this portion of the workshop on developing fundamentals: the keys to future success.
